4 bridges of Rongjiang River, Rongdong, Meidong and Huanshi North River have been built and the roadways are increased to 103 with 124 km from 11 with 16.2 km when the city was set up. The virescence rate of the urban is 32.24 % and the average green ground for per person accumulates to 5.05 square meters. The overall plan of the 50 – km/sq new urban is nearly finished and the city is introducing investment for construction. The construction of the municipal defense synthesis projects with its assistant municipal facilities, which is planned to be invested with 3 billion RMB, is being sped up. The Huangzhishan Mountain Forest Park and the large musical spring on the Rongjiang River have been finished. The construction of the first phase of garbage – ground and the reform of the Linjiang North Road and the Huangzhishan Street have nearly been completed. The reform of the old urban is carried out steadily and the built area in the urban has been expanded to 36 sq/km from 7.8 sq/km before the city was set up. The 181 – sq/km planned area of the downtown is under construction and Jieyang, as a newly developed middle city, has appeared to be a largevisage.
