Located in the southeast of Guangdong Province, Jieyang City, geographical coordinate from 115̊̊ 36’.E to 110̊37’ E and from 22̊37’ N ,lies on the Chaoshan Plain .Jieyang Port is close to South China Sea on the south and boarders Xingning and Meizhou City on the north. It is near Shantou City on the east and Shanwei City on the west. Its geographic is unique and the transportation of water and land is quite convenient.
Jieyang has a monsoon climate and the annual average temperature is 21.4̊C. The annual sunshine radiation is 115-116 therms/sq.cm and the annual precipitation is 1720-2100 mm, which is one of the areas richest in sunshine, heat and water resources in China.
